Maghar Bazar is the largest Market in Siwan district. It is well connected by railway and road. It is mainly a market and educational centre of Saghar Sultan pur Post Office. Rice is the main crop of the district. It is situated in the western part of North Bihar. It is bordered by Chappra District.
